I Love a Parade

For many Christians, today is Palm Sunday.  For some, it is Palm / Passion Sunday, where you start with the processional gospel, sing “All Glory, Laud, and Honor”, march around waving palms, and then read the story of the Passion, too.  You go from “Hosanna!” to “Crucify him!” in the space of an hour, and I think there is something to that.  (It’s what we did at First and Beckville this morning.)

But we are still moving toward Good Friday, when we will hear the Passion again.  So today on Never Done It That Way Before, enjoy a few photos of Litchfield’s annual parade (circa 2008).

Also, bask in the 1979 glory of  this Lawrence Welk gem:

Happy Palm Sunday, friends!  Or, if you prefer, happy Parade Day!
