How to Cure a Headache

1. Take four ibuprofen.

2. Drink one steaming hot cup of coffee.

3. Share holy communion and holy conversation with two great women.

4. Get a big hug from one charming preschooler.

5. Still have a headache?  A few more sips of that communion wine might do the trick.

    For headaches…2 Excedrin Migraine tablets, lie down in a dark quiet room with a bag of frozen peas (wrapped in a soft pillowcase) on your head and another on your neck.

  2. My nearly 100 year old Norwegian grandfather taught me an acupressure maneuver back in 1981 that almost never fails; but I’ll have to show it to you in person. Cuddling a kitty helps. Those heat wraps help too.
